APM Civil EngineeringAPM Civil Engineering has extensive functionality for creating structural models, performing the necessary calculations and visualizing the results. The use of these opportunities will reduce the design time and reduce the material consumption of the construction site, as well as reduce the cost of design work and construction in general.

APM Civil Engineering fully takes into account the requirements of state standards and building codes and regulations related to both design documentation and calculation algorithms.

The calculation and graphic tools available in the APM Civil Engineeringsystem allow you to solve a wide range of tasks:

  • design metal structures of any type for various types of loading and fastening with the possibility of automatic selection of cross-sections (checking the bearing capacity according to SNiP) and generation of drawings of typical metal structures;
  • perform the entire range of necessary calculations for reinforced concrete structures with automatic selection of reinforcement parameters for the limit states of the first and second groups in accordance with the joint venture;
  • to design wooden structures, including the selection of metal toothed plates and dowels at the joints of the beams, as well as to receive sawing schemes for all structural elements;

This product is offered in two configurations:

  • ST - the dimension of the problems being solved does not exceed 1.5 million degrees of freedom;
  • XE - there are no restrictions on the dimension of the tasks to be solved (the actual dimension is limited by the amount of PC RAM).

By the type of structures designed in the software, APM Civil Engineering can also be subdivided into the following configurations:

  • APM Structure3D - module for calculating the stress-strain state, stability, natural and forced vibrations of parts and structures by the finite element method;
  • APM Studio - a pre- and post-processor for creating models for strength (finite element) analysis with the ability to import files in STEP format;

  • APM Graph - flat parametric drawing and graphic editor with a tool for calculating dimensional chains;
  • APM Base - a module for creating and editing databases;
  • APM Joint - module for calculating and designing connections of machine elements;
  • APM Wood is a timber truss design module with the ability to calculate joints on metal toothed plates.

Design of steel structures

With APM Civil Engineering you can:
