Handbook of a technologist is a full-scale system for managing regulatory and reference technological information. The reference book can work both autonomously and as part of the ASCON Solution Complex for solving the problems of automating the design and technological preparation of engineering industries.
The Directory is a single medium for storing, accessing and processing technological data used in the KTPP processes, and provides complete centralized or collective management of reference data and documents in accordance with the configured security policy.
All information stored in the database of the Handbook of the technologist has a hierarchical structure.
In the process of searching and selecting data, you can use graphical information (images), various filters and data sorting operations according to several criteria.
Handbook of the technologist provides operational access to more than 70 specialized technological databases. The passport data for various models of equipment for machining, stamping, heat treatment, welding, etc. are presented. In the work you can use the classifier of technological operations and transitions, more than 60,000 tool sizes, more than 2000 machine tool sizes, about 300 models of lifting devices, more than 150 brands of cutting material parts of the Republic of Ingushetia, classifier of professions, about 910 brands of coolant and auxiliary material, about 550 models of personal protective equipment and much more. Most databases have the same structure, with the exception of some specialized directories.
The built-in universal filter “Applicability” allows you to quickly adjust the relevance of information in the database without deleting data. You can connect additional documents to each object of the Directory, if necessary, view, edit or delete them.
The technologist’s guide provides the administrator with ample opportunities both for finalizing the structure of pre-configured guides and for creating and connecting new technological guides.
Multilevel differentiation of access rights to data allows you to reliably protect information from unauthorized viewing and modification, as well as prevent the loss and damage of data and documents.
In addition, in the context of data management, the following procedures are supported:
- access to the change history of any reference object. The history stores information about each action taken on the object, the user who performed the action; the time taken to complete the action and other clarifying information;
- viewing and editing documents connected to reference objects. As in the case of reference objects, a detailed history of changes in each regulatory document is kept, which is available for viewing by administrators of the Technological Manual.
