Box Semi-truck NEFAZ 9509-30

(Weight reduction 12%)

Strength calculation is made of the frame and body-dump NEFAZ 9509-30 in order to further increase its capacity and reducing metal.

The computational model of a body and the frame formed by the Customer sent by 3 dmodeli. Calculation was conducted on the following (with load) Load: moving on a rough road, the acceleration (acceleration, braking and turning), twisting and lifting the body.

Fig. 2 - semitrailer model, made in the module APM Structure3D

Carrying out the static analysis of the frame and the body is made in the calculation module of the stress-strain state, stability, natural and forced vibrations of parts and structures using finite element method - APM Structure3D, which is part of the automated calculation and design of structures for APM WinMachine 12 industrial and civil construction .

As a result of calculations obtained card design stress and strain state at the body frame and the respective load combinations. Below is a part of them

According to the results of the calculations have been carried out to optimize the design of the frame and body. The recommendations on the most attenuated strengthening elements and reducing the thickness of the semitrailer underutilized elements.

After changing the model according to the recommendations, re-calculation on all the combinations of loadings were carried out. these calculations results confirmed that the frame construction and the semi-trailer body satisfies the conditions of strength and stiffness.

Thus, the task of reducing metal frame and body of the semitrailer has been resolved. Metal consumption decreased by 780 kg, which is 12% of the initial model of the semitrailer
